This is achieved through various tests which measure the properties of concrete materials, including compressive strength, flexural strength, tensile strength, density, and workability. These tests help ensure that concrete meets the required specifications for strength and durability. We also provide Quality Control field inspections to verify the consistency and uniformity of concrete batches produced by ready-mix plants or on-site mixing operations. This involves sampling fresh concrete and conducting tests to ensure it meets specified requirements before and during concrete placement.
In addition to material testing of concrete, we also conduct tests on aggregates used in concrete mixes to ensure they meet specifications for gradation, particle shape, abrasion resistance, and other properties. In cases of concrete failure or distress, our lab can conduct an Engineering Analysis Report to investigate the root causes and identify factors contributing to the problem. This may involve examining concrete core samples, conducting petrographic analysis, using non destructive testing methods and recommending remedial measures.
